Keep an eye out for the visual differences in the entrance to Myth Lair and in the arena itself to foreshadow which version you’ll be up against. See the Content section below for more details. New Challenge Types We’ve added recurring Daily and Weekly Challenge types that can be completed for ongoing rewards, such as Golden Horns and Season XP to help you progress through the Season Reward Track.

Wolfmaster Fenrir Sporting a new look, this new Fenrir Variant never fights alone, for he is a master of magic … wolf magic! Throughout your encounter with Wolfmancer Fenrir, he will summon his wolf allies to distract and overwhelm you, in addition to attacking you directly (he fights badly). If Wolfmancer Fenrir is reduced to 50% of his HP, he will seek help from his most trusted wolf allies, the gigantic and deadly Sköll and Hati. Good luck! Fenrir Howler of Doom The wolf formerly known simply as Fenrir has taken on Doomhowler’s new cloak. Why? Well, because he perfected his howl ability to be even more deadly (bad?). When below the 50% health threshold, Doomhowler Fenrir will fire magic projectiles in all directions whenever he uses his Howl ability. Stay nimble and you might get away with it in one piece. Gameplay Changes – Battle / Blessings Update

Updated Armor System We have generally improved the impact of armor and shields on player damage mitigation, affecting all gear levels. Because of this, the defense rating on the armor and any runes or blessings that further enhance that rating will be more noticeable and do a better job of keeping you safe in Midgard. Ranger Class Blessings: No Ullr: Reduced cooldown and added stun effect. Hunter: Spirit of Skaði: Now spawns 100% of the time, with a cooldown between uses, and continually taunts nearby enemies. Bountiful Grasp: Now doubles all gathered materials, regardless of their source. Push the Limits: Increased knockback effect but only triggers on the last hit of the combo. Warrior: Reckless Roll: Now works as intended in that it does not affect the entire roll animation. Added a visual cue to indicate timing during the roll in which the Warrior is invincible. Berserker: Striking Fear: No longer affects weapon durability when triggered. Wrath Unleashed: Adjusted the layout of the blessing tree so that this blessing is more of a conscious decision for players whether or not they want to spend their anger gauge on explosion damage. Sentinel: Shield Throw: Now correctly bounces up to 3 additional targets. Combat Improvements Pressing entries before the roll, aim bow, and shield block animations have ended now ignores cooldown and feels more responsive. The blocking position effect is now active as soon as you tap the entry, even if the animation is not complete. Class spell cooldowns are now always visible in the HUD.

Balance changes:

Norsfell: We’ve been monitoring the community’s emerging playstyles and meta strategies since launch, and with the Mid-Saga update we wanted to give players a wider variety of suitable options to shake up this meta and add a little more diversity to the player builds. This included taking a look at some runes that we felt weren’t powerful enough on their own, which made the game more difficult than expected without the ideal rune setup. The rune changes below, coupled with the update to the armor system above, should allow for a greater variety of powerful builds to take on the dangers of Midgard.

Runic effects:

Einher-a-JAR: the damage bonus increased from 50% to 75% Blessed …
