Back 4 Blood brings classic cooperative zombie hunting reminiscent of the classic Left 4 Dead. While Back 4 Blood has many similarities to Left 4 Dead, it does have its unique characteristics, including the card system. Cards are a leveling system in Back 4 Blood that allows players to increase their character and team’s abilities in battle. At the start of each level, players can select a card for additional boosts. These cards have various uses and several classes: Related: All trophies in Back 4 Blood Reflex: Cards specializing in movement-based upgrades such as stamina, speed, and weapon swap speed.
Discipline: Improves the effectiveness of other abilities, including maximum ammo capacity. Brawn: Cards focused on improving damage or improving physical abilities, such as increased melee strength, higher max health, and bonus attack power after killing bosses. Example: Confident Killer Fortune: The game’s more random and sporadic class of cards includes a variety of upgrades ranging from increased offensive power to running and gunning abilities.
Players can create their decks of cards and determine which cards they will get first by going to the deck manager in the lobby menu. Keep in mind that equipped cards are removed and returned to the deck after the race is over, meaning players cannot place them between save files indefinitely. Back 4 Blood is available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X | S, and PC.
