Sea of Thieves Shrine of Flooded Embrace Journals Locations
Check your map table for the location of the Flooded Embrace Sanctuary. Take your ship to the designated area, look for the colorful glow above the waves, and dive in. As you descend, you’ll come to what looks like an upside-down galleon encased in a huge underwater mound. There is a hole just “below” the rudder. This is your entrance. Swim inside and you will reach a large chamber filled with water.
Sanctuary of the Flooded Embrace Journal 1: Sanctuary of the Flooded Embrace
The first newspaper is upstairs. The upside-down galleon’s cargo bay is directly above you. Swim, catch your breath in the air bubble and look for yellow coral next to the stairs. The newspaper is on the floor.
Shrine of Flooded Embrace Journal 2: Mermaids
Get out of the first wreck and swim straight ahead for a short distance. Turn around and look straight up and you will see the door of a brig (prison) facing down, surrounded by glowing teal coral. Open the door and the newspaper will be inside, to your left.
Shrine of Flooded Embrace Journal 3: Mermaid Gems
Near the middle (vertically) of the shrine is a transparent barrier, sealed by shiny red coral. Inside is a large air pocket and a mermaid statue. The third log is immediately to your left as you enter, on a pile of wreckage.
Shrine of Flooded Embrace Journal 4: Siren Gems
Directly below the chamber with the third trunnion is an inverted hull covered with algae, under a coral canopy. Inside the wreck is an air vent. The log is above the exterior of the wreckage.
Shrine of Flooded Embrace Journal 5: A Great Battle
The final newspaper is near the back of the chamber. Look for a piece of wreckage on the seabed and leaning against the wall, roughly north of the center. It will be illuminated by a bright and shiny coral. The newspaper leans against the coral. Great job, you have discovered five of the hidden logs. There are twenty-five more to locate. You can find guides on these and many other secrets on our dedicated Sea of Thieves hub.
