Battlefield 2042 like many other Electronic Arts games will sometimes be in maintenance, so we tell you how to know if maintenance is in progress on the servers. Battlefield 2042 like all other online games will sometimes see its servers be taken offline in order to patch the servers or fix an issue affecting them, most of the time this will be through maintenance that will be announced by the account. Facebook EA Help or that of Battlefield.
How do I know if the Battlefield 2042 servers are under maintenance?
As we explained to you previously, it will sometimes happen that the servers are offline for maintenance and the developers will generally notify when a maintenance is in progress. This communication will be done either through the Battlefield 2042 Facebook page (source) or the EA Help Facebook page (source). Another source of information to find out if maintenance is in progress is the dedicated server status page on EA Help (source). By going to the page, you just have to click on “Server status” to know their status on each platform. It should be noted that at the moment this option is not available since the title is currently in early beta until October 8 before going into open beta from October 8 to 10. Available on these two accounts or on the server status page, you might want to look at the Battlefield 2042 forums (source) to see if other players are having issues. Finally, we remind you that Battlefield 2042 will be officially released on November 19 on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S and that an open beta will be available from October 8 to 10.
