Latest Steam Update Improves Upload Page & Storage Management

Valve has released a new version of the Steam client. While the visual changes are subtle after downloading and installing the update, Valve says the download page has been “replaced with a new implementation” and “visually redesigned for intuitiveness and ease of use.”

Now you can see the size of the downloaded and installed files separately. You can also drag and drop items to the boot menu by prioritizing. In addition, the new i icon will let you know what’s new in the next game update – content, fixes, and so on.

And that is not all! Changes have also been made to the storage management system. Users can now place library folders on read-only drives and delete empty folders from fixed drives. All of this is made possible by a new user interface that “makes it easy to manage content across multiple drives.”
