Final Fantasy XIV has hundreds, if not thousands of weapons for every job. Some weapons are random drops; others are linked to a quest chain. One popular weapon type is Relic Weapons which have been added to each set. Here’s how you can get the Anima weapons that have been added with the Heavensward expansion. Before starting this quest chain, you will need to make sure that you have completed the main storyline quest, Heavensward, as well as reached level 60 with the job of your choice. If any of these conditions are not met, this quest chain will not appear. This quest chain will begin with the quest An Unexpected Proposition. You can get this quest from Rowena Dravania, located in Idyllshire (x: 5.7, y: 5.5). Once you’ve spoken to Rowena, she’ll tell you to go see Ardashir in the Alpha Quadrant at Azys Lla (x: 7, y: 11), who will officially put you on the path to crafting an Anima weapon. This same process will have to be repeated for each task if you want their respective Lux Anima weapon, but note that subsequent executions will start with the quest, The Lifeless Soul, instead of, An Unexpected Proposition. Anima Weapon’s quest chain is not easy. You have to be prepared to invest a lot of material and time in making these weapons and their different versions. However, if you’re dedicated you’ll run around Eorzea with some very unique weapons to show off!
