Leaks

New characters

Genshin Impact has confirmed, through its official channels, two new characters that will appear in version 2.3. Image via miHoYo Aragaki Itto — Geo Claymore Five Star Fast as wind and mighty as thunder, he is a fearless man with Oni blood flowing through his veins. Image via miHoYo Gorou – Four Star Geo Arc Born with a beast-fighting intuition and a tenacious will, he can find a path to victory even in the most critical moments. Within Gorou exists a soul as vast and reliable as the earth. Both of these additions are slated to drop in the second banner on December 14, 2021. They will bring a new Defense meta and plenty of possibilities for full Geo team builds. Currently, there is no information on the first banner to be released on November 24, 2021, but speculation hints at a possible replay of Albedo due to its relevance in Events 2.3.

New weapons

Part of the leak concerns two new weapons for version 2.3: Stonrthresher Redhorn (Claymore) Basic Attack: 46 Secondary Stat: 14.4% Critical Damage Passive Ability: + 20% Defense. Normal and charged attacks increase the wearer’s defense by 28%. How to get: Limited Weapon Banner Cinnabar Pin (Sword) Basic Attack: 41 Secondary Stat: 15 Defense Passive Ability: + 40% Elemental Skill Damage. The effect wears off 0.1 seconds after the elemental skill deals damage and will recharge for 1.5 seconds. How To Get: Free From New Dragonspine Event Related: Best Gorou Build at Genshin Impact

New artifacts

Since these artifacts cannot be mined in current areas of the game, according to the leak, players may also anticipate the arrival of a new area in version 2.3. 2 Piece Divine Chorus: + 15% 4 Piece Healing Bonus: Healing effects generate a Healing Bubble (HB) every 3.5 seconds. It will accumulate stacked healing (HS) as characters are healed. The HB bursts after three seconds, healing all characters near 50% SH (with a maximum healing value of 30,000) and dealing damage to enemies near 90% SH simultaneously. Carcass of Opulent Dreams + 30% defense + 6% defense and + 6% geo damage for geo characters on the field. This stacks once every 0.3 seconds with a maximum of four stacks. Off the field, the ensemble grants a stack every three seconds. And when not in use, a battery disappears every six seconds.

New enemies

Version 2.3 will bring a whole new set of challenges. In particular, the update will expand on the Corrosion debuff from versions 2.1 and 2.2, increasing the need for healers in squad builds. Golden Wolflord — World Boss The King of the Riftwolves. Golden Wolflord attacks can apply “Corrosion” status stacks, which will result in continued HP loss for all party characters. In battle, the Wolflord will summon Rifthound Alphas to provide shields. Attack the Rifhound Alphas with Geo DMG to destroy the Golden Wolflord shields. The Golden Wolflord takes the form of a giant flying Rifthound, which means players must use ranged DPS characters to defeat the boss. He drops the Rifthorn Regalia, which a leak indicates is one of Aragaki Itto’s Ascension materials.

New Abyss range

Get a head start on preparing the Abyss with these leaks for what soils should be. Floor 9 Enemies: Unknown Ley Line Trouble: A bolt of lightning will strike characters every five seconds, dealing electrical damage. His range of attacks will expand as the challenge drags on. Floor 10 Enemies: Unknown Ley Line Trouble: An opponent will be selected as leader. Attendants will give the leader + 10% physical and elemental resistance, heal his health by 5% every 12 seconds. Floor 11 Enemies: Unknown Ley Line Disorder: + 60% geographic damage and physical damage inflicted by all party members. Floor 12 Enemies: 12-1 First Half Thundercraven Rifthound (Electro) Young Thundercraven Greyhound (Electro) Second Part Rockford Rifthound (Geo) Rockford Rifthound Lion Cub (Geo) 12-2 First Half Second Half (enemies are based on the Maguu Kenkis in the Vagabond event of patch 1.6) Maguu Kenki: Lonely Gale Maguu Kenki: Mask of Terror Maguu Kenki: Frost Gallop 12-3 First Half Thundercraven Rifthound (Electro) Destroyer Destroyer Ruin Defender Part 2 Rockford Rifthound (Geo) Ruins Cruiser Ruins Scout

New business cards

Business card collectors will be happy to hear that according to the leak, there should be at least three new ones coming in the update. Aragaki Itto — Oni Gorou Face – Hound Dog Battle Pass — Travel Notes: Lyratum Related: How to Claim the Genshin Impact Daily Registration Rewards

New animal

A new ninken (ninja dog) pet will be rewarded by players during the event called Hachi. There is currently no information on whether or not he will explore Teyvat with the player or stay in the Serenitea pot.

New furniture

The Leisurely Device: Rhythmic Sprinter will allow players to participate in personalized parkour trials with friends in their Serenitea pot! A leaderboard is available to allow you to track gains and losses.

New Hangouts

The events of Gorou and Beidou’s Hangout are expected to be released with the new version, but the content of the stories is still unknown.

New events

Arguably the most exciting part of any update is the event list, which will determine what content to keep players busy for next month. Dust and Shady Snow This exciting event is the second part of Albedo’s version 1.2 story quest, Chalk Prince and the Dragon. It will bring players back to Dragonspine, where they can participate in a series of combat and training instances, as well as a new snowman building feature. In total, each snowman consists of eight different parts that players can swap between friends. Players must build a snowman to get the free four-star weapon, Cinnabar Spindle. Hachi Hachi is an event that will introduce new mechanics to the game. Using the Omni-Ubiquity Net, players can catch creatures in the overworld that can live in the Serenitea pot. Misty Dungeon: Realm of Light Misty Dungeon, which first worked in version 1.5, is expected to be replayed in version 2.3. There are seven events that a predetermined list of characters can complete. They will not benefit from Elemental Resonance in Event Stages, and their constellations will be based on the player’s existing characters. But players can still use characters they don’t own in Event Trials. Golden Wolf Lord Event While there are no clear details regarding this event, it is likely an introduction to the new Golden Wolflord World Boss, much like Azhdaha and the release of Thunder Manifestation in the previous versions.
