Final name and release date of new Pro Evolution Soccer (PES) confirmed

Konami has finally confirmed the final name for the new part of the soccer simulator in the Pro Evolution Soccer series. This will eFootball 2022, which will be released at the end of this month. The official release date for eFootball 2022 is September 30, 2021.

And one day later, the release of FIFA 22 from EA – the main and, one might say, the only competitor of PES – will take place. Thus, hot days await football fans!

eFootball 2022 is coming to PC, PS5, Xbox Series X, PS4 and Xbox One. It will be a free-to-play Konami game. The company plans to add cross-platform support, although this will not happen immediately (there will be no feature on release). You will also have to wait a bit and the editing function, as well as an unnamed team creation mode, which replaces the standard “Master League” from the old PES games.

At launch, 6 famous stadiums and 9 famous football clubs are guaranteed to appear, which will be available for both online and local play. Matches between consoles of different generations are also possible. Owners of PS4 and PS5 or Xbox One and Xbox Series X | S can fight in one duel.
