Final Fantasy XIV will undergo All Worlds maintenance on May 23

Screenshot by our guides Although MMOs offer a persistent online experience, sometimes things need to be taken down for maintenance, and Final Fantasy XIV is no exception. With patch 6.11a, a balance and fix patch, on the horizon Final Fantasy XIV has scheduled maintenance.

Final Fantasy XIV All Worlds Maintenance Period

The maintenance will run for the following duration: May 23, 2022 from 11 p.m. to May 24, 2022 from 3 a.m. (PT) May 24, 2022 from 2 a.m. to 6 a.m. (ET) Origin will be paused and shut down 30 minutes before maintenance begins. So make sure you’ve changed worlds before the maintenance. These times above are subject to change and may be longer or shorter depending on the volume of changes. What do we expect from patch 6.11a for Final Fantasy XIV?

Unfortunately, patch 6.11a doesn’t seem too big. Most likely just a few bugfixes and balancing changes to jobs and roles. This patch won’t be the one that adds many of the features that fans are looking forward to in the 6.1 patch cycle. So, no personalized Ameliance Leveilleur deliveries, no further Hildibrand adventures and no moving between data centers. If that makes Patch 6.11a incredibly disappointing, then you’re not mistaken. However, we probably won’t have too long to wait for a “real” patch, with patch 6.15 expected in June 2022.
