In Battlefield 2042, you will be able to play with different specialists. We give you a presentation of the characters and their skills. In Battlefield 2042 as in the previous license games, you will be able to play with different characters who are specialists. Find below an overview of each of the classes, but also their skills given by EA (source).

Battlefield 2042 Specialist List

In Battlefield 2042, you will be able to discover the new Specialist system which is inspired by the four classes of Battlefield. Each Specialist has a unique specialty and attribute, but the rest of the gear is fully editable.

Kimble “Irish” Graves

Irish is the captain of the Specialists aboard the Exodus. A native of Brooklyn, New York, his leadership skills and combat skills allow him to ensure the safety of the Homeless. He excels at fortifying positions on the battlefield and creating small outposts that the team can use as rallying points to launch an attack. Specialty – Fortification System: Includes deployable DCS protection to protect against bullets and explosives, and the APS-36 Sentry to destroy explosive projectiles. Attribute – Veteran: Provides armor. Additional bonuses on downed enemies.

Webster mackay

An outdoor enthusiast, nomad and soldier. Mackay is a tough guy with a moral sense. In his father’s wake, Mackay joined the Canadian military as a teenager. At the height of his military career, he was a member of Joint Task Force II in an anti-terrorism unit. After leaving the military, he followed his dreams of exploration and life on the fringes of society. Today, this assault soldier is fighting alongside the Homeless to pass the sponge on a regret caused by his military career. Specialty – Boarding grapple: Pulls a rope that attaches to surfaces. When attached, the rope retracts and the character is pulled towards the attachment point. Attribute – Mobility: The player moves faster when using the sight, which further boosts their speed.

Maria falck

An expert in support, Maria Falck has an iron will that never wavers in the face of danger, fear or hierarchy. A talented doctor, she served for six years in the German Army, traveling across North Africa and the Middle East, eager to make a positive impact on the world. Today, she is looking for her missing son, David, after hearing rumors about his involvement in a homeless group. Specialty – Syrette gun S21: Fires a syringe capable of healing allies. If the syringe hits an enemy, it deals damage to them. Attribute – Combat Surgeon: Allies resuscitated on the ground with all their health.

Pyotr “Boris” Guskovsky

Stubborn and individualistic, Boris seeks to appropriate power and control in a chaotic world. If his leadership qualities may seem a little aggressive to some, his talent on the field is undeniable. The Russian-born engineer is one of the group’s most experienced weapons experts, especially when it comes to defensive tactics, but his relationship with the team remains uncertain. That being said, Boris is trustworthy when it comes to completing a mission, even if considerable collateral damage is to be expected. Specialty – SG-36 Automatic Turret: Automatically spots and attacks enemy targets within a certain radius. Attribute – Turret Operator: When the turret cannon locks an enemy, it is spotted.

Wikus “Casper” van Daele

Scout Wikus works solo. He is the calm and unruffled element of his Task Force. A former intelligence agent in South Africa, Wikus is a master of camouflage and long-range engagement. After revealing a plot involving a high-ranking officer that threatened his comrades and local civilians, Wikus was falsely accused of murder and fled the country. He aligned himself with the Homeless in the hope of one day being able to return home, if such a place still exists. Specialty – OV-P Reconnaissance Drone: Spots moving targets and can disorient the enemy with electromagnetic pulses. It can also designate targets for locking weapons. Attribute – Motion Sensor: Alerts the player when enemies are approaching, whether in motion or at the controls of the reconnaissance drone. (image credits: Battlefield Fandom)
