Back 4 Blood Inviting Friends is not working

Back 4 Blood is, without a doubt, the most fun when played with friends, so it can be quite frustrating when you are trying to invite your friends and you end up with an error that stops you dead in its tracks. As the friend invite feature does not work, you are forced to play with random players or solo, the latter is not ideal as you do not get a supply point by doing so. The inability of players to invite friends is one of the many issues on PC, PlayStation, and Xbox, although Turtle Rock Studios is aware of the bug and is investigating it. In the meantime, there are temporary workarounds that can help. They have varying effects and while some are quite basic, they can get you back on your feet.

How to fix the Invite Friends error on PC, PlayStation and Xbox

Since multiplayer is a key feature of Back 4 Blood, it probably won’t be long before a solid fix for this error rolls out with a fix. The safest solution for you would be to just wait, but there are a few other things you can try if you’re looking forward to playing with friends now. The most likely solution for the friend invite not working issue is to make sure that you and your friend have installed the game on internal system storage, not external storage. In the event that you need to free up some space to perform this transfer, you can choose to keep this method for the end, provided that the other simpler solutions do not work for you. Try to get you and your friend to restart the Back 4 Blood app and try again, and you should both try to send / receive invites. Player A may have a hard time catching up with player B, but there’s a chance it will work well the other way around. If restarting an app doesn’t work, try performing a hard system reset, making sure that any background apps that might be causing issues or conflicts are closed. If that doesn’t resolve the friend invite error, it’s time to do some internet troubleshooting. First, reset your router or modem and try to invite your friend again. If that fails, switch from Wi-Fi to a wired connection if possible. You can also try performing an additional hard system reset after resetting your internet connection if you want to cover all the bases.
