The Guardians of the Galaxy game is clearly going to be very different from Marvel’s Avengers. As Square Enix is releasing both games, Eidos Montreal has decided not to include DLC or live service for gamers. Once you have completed the game, you are done. Marvel’s Avengers, on the other hand, may have gone too far with live service and failed to provide enough base game players. This is a game that took Eidos Montreal’s time and effort to create it at Gold Standard. That’s not to say that there won’t be fixes, because errors do occur, and it has become normal for the developers to fix things that make the game unplayable. The “Day 1 Patch,” which every game seems to have these days, will most likely be in this game as well. Related: Are Guardians of the Galaxy Multiplayer or Co-op? There will likely be mods for those who play on PC, but that’s all you will get if you play on consoles. That may change in the future if the game becomes more popular, but for now, the base game is all there is to it. A new article will be written if there are any rumors or leaks that Eidos Montreal will add. Of course, we would love to see any kind of DLC that will allow us to play as the other Guardians or even as the Avenger.
